Ellis Laue was named after Max von Laue, the Nobel physicist for X-ray diffraction.

Laue Labs publishes digital engineering project packs. A pack contains build instructions, source files for the project, and a parts list. Hardware is purchased separately.

Packs are written for children, parents, adult makers, and teachers. Build Club is a paid membership for the pack library. Classroom packs are sold by the seat. Current prices are on the shop page.
